in Lille...

After I arrived, I amazed to the size of my studio in the Le Malterie. So I started my work, and I use the answers from the web questioner to draw a map out of it. I got so many replies, and some of them are really philosophical. I also started to discover the city, and its surrounding.
The weather is a little bit chilly, but I visited museums, and markets, and tried some local food as well. Lille is really a unique city, where traditions and modernity are mixed. I had a chance to visit another city, Valenciennes, where I have visited the residency of the H du siege centre. I talked with the resident Natalia Jaime-Cortez, who is really interestingly mixing the local traditional embroidery and the drawing in his work
